About the Role
Reporting to the Senior People & Culture Business Partner, this role provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take the next step in their career and develop their capability as a People & Culture Business Partner.
You will provide trusted HR advice and support to leaders across the employee lifecycle, building strong relationships and helping leaders navigate people matters with confidence. You will partner with leaders to understand their teams, provide practical solutions, and contribute to positive outcomes for both employees and the organisation.
Working alongside an experienced People & Culture team, you will gain exposure across a broad range of HR matters while continuing to build your business partnering skills, leadership coaching capability, and strategic HR experience.
Key areas of focus include:
Providing practical HR advice across employee relations, performance, conduct, workplace matters, and employee wellbeing.
Supporting leaders through employee lifecycle processes, including coaching conversations, performance management, and effective people practices.
Supporting leaders and employees through rehabilitation and return-to-work processes, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
Assisting with workplace investigations and complex employee matters, with guidance and support from the broader P&C team.
Building trusted relationships with leaders and supporting the delivery of people initiatives across your client groups.
Applying employment legislation, industrial instruments, and policies to provide practical, solutions-focused advice.
Supporting workforce planning, continuous improvement initiatives, and projects that strengthen organisational capability.
Contributing to the development of HR resources, tools, and leader guides that make managing people easier and more consistent.

Desired Skills and Experience
About You
You are an experienced HR professional who enjoys building relationships, solving people challenges, and supporting leaders to achieve positive outcomes. You're ready to take the next step in your career and are excited by the opportunity to grow into a People & Culture Business Partner role
You will bring:
A minimum Certificate IV in Human Resources (HR, Business or related tertiary qualification desirable).
At least 3–5 years' experience in a HR Advisor, HR Generalist or similar role.
Return to Work Qualification desirable
Experience providing advice across employee relations, performance management, conduct, and employee lifecycle matters.
Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and Modern Awards with the ability to apply them in a practical, solutions-focused way.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to a range of audiences.
Strong organisational skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A genuine desire to learn, develop your business partnering capability, and build a rewarding career in HR.
