Job Description
As a Qualified Support Worker, you’ll be part of a caring, inclusive team that helps older adults maintain their independence and wellbeing at home. Every visit is an opportunity to build connection, share a smile, and make someone’s day brighter.
What you’ll be doing
Providing personal and mobility support with dignity and compassion
Assisting with daily tasks and community activities that promote independence
Supporting clients to achieve personal goals and stay connected
Transporting clients to appointments or social outings (paid km’s)
Communicating regularly with your team to ensure the best outcomes for clients
Desired Skills and Experience
What you’ll bring
Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care/Community) or Nursing student with Aged Care placement completed
Experience in Aged Care or Community Services
Empathy, reliability, and a genuine passion for helping others
Current Driver’s Licence
Registered and comprehensively insured reliable vehicle
Current First Aid & CPR
National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination’s highly recommended
