Join BallyCara as a Physiotherapist - Full Time (Bundoora Location!)

Are you a Physiotherapist with a passion for helping individuals maintain their independence and enjoy meaningful daily activities? BallyCara, a leading aged care organisation, is looking for a compassionate and skilled professional to join our team in Bundoora on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will be available to commence in January 2025!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personalised Therapy: Provide high-quality physiotherapy services to clients in the community.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Health Practitioner to develop and implement individualised care plans.
  • Education and Support: Provide guidance and support to clients and their families, helping them feel empowered to manage care independently.
  • Community Engagement: Travel within the community using your own car to provide therapy services to clients in their homes and local settings.
  • Client Assessments: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' physical, functional, and cognitive needs to develop tailored interventions that promote their independence, mobility, and overall well-being.

Desired Skills and Experience

What we're looking for!

  • Qualifications and Registration: Hold relevant qualifications and current registration as a Physiotherapist.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in community physiotherapy, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Passion for Aged Care: A genuine dedication to enhancing the well-being and quality of life for older adults.
  • Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively in a new region.
  • Police Check: Possess a current national Police Check clearance or be willing to obtain one through BallyCara’s recruitment process.
  • COVID-19 Vaccinations: Up-to-date vaccinations in accordance with Government health guidelines.
